Welcome members and non-members (you know who you are)
to the clubs web site.

The Intrepid Star Trek Fan club was founded in 1985 by two people, Tina Hewett and Peter Ward. Their initial efforts and those of additional members to the club committee have meant that the club now has a moderate membership which at it's peak numbered over 120 members.

In 1998 the committee decided that as there were now hundreds of Star Trek related clubs in the UK and across the world it was time for a slight change in the club's layout. 1999 saw the re-launch of the club as the Intrepid Star Trek & Science Fiction Fan Club, now covering not just Star Trek but any and all SF series and movies.

With the renaming of the club and the new millennium coming up (whichever one you believe in) the Intrepid Committee decided the time was right to expand the club into the emerging realm of the Internet. This site is the result of that idea.

At the moment the site is new and relatively small, you'll find details of the clubs history and how to join. In the future plans are afoot to include articles from past issues of the club's magazine, the Intrepid Reporter, a kid's section and a forum for club members and non-members to chat between themselves and with members of the committee.

Should you wish to contact the committee then please e-mail us
